Who We Are
CBI Web is a web design company that offers a constantly expanding range of web services for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations. We provide inexpensive yet professionally built, customized websites; plus, we offer regular updating, maintenence, and visitor relations for each site we build. If you prefer to build your own site but need some assistance, we'll glady help you as a consultant, or by providing specific elements for your project such as javascripts, other types of code, graphics, and even create a template for your site that you can build on at your leisure. We also provide copy writing and copy editing services. Coming soon will be a full graphic design department with Flash capabilities. Other short-term goals include website promotion, web hosting, and ISP services. In fact, we are currently in negotiations to partner with an incredibly affordable hosting company that will meet all your needs. CBI Web's vision is to become your one-stop, full-service Web Station.
Our Operating Policies & Procedures
Our main policy is to give you fast, professional, and satisfactory service in everything we do for you. We keep daily communication for as long as the project is active, and we will not do anything you didn't ask us to do without consulting you first. We may create samples of our ideas for you to review, but will never finalize them until you have given the OK.
Hiring Us: We work with our clients, providing friendly, affordable service, customized to their particular needs. On the worldwide web, what's good for one isn't necessarily good for another; so we listen, advise, and create what we consider to be the best solution for you. Contact us through email, and we can either call or email you back to discuss your project.Once all the details have been worked out, before we begin, we will email you a written statement of how we understand the project is to be done, according to what you've told us. If there's any misunderstanding on our part, or if you've changed your mind about any aspect of the project, simply email us back with the corrections. We will confirm those corrections one more time before proceeding. There is no charge for this confirmation stage of the project.
Billing: For the duration of a project or individual task, we log our time in minutes, then translate those minutes into hours at the time of billing. When the minutes add up to less than a half hour we do not bill you for the first twenty-five minutes of that half hour. If it is less than five minutes to the next half-hour point, it will count as a full thirty minutes, and is payable.
Example: 3 hrs 55 min. will be billed as 3 hrs 30 min. 3 hrs 56 min. will be billed as 4 hrs 0 min.
We send invoices to our clients on Friday of each week for the duration of the project. Jobs that take less than one week will also be invoiced on the first Friday after the job is completed. If the job completes on a Friday, it will be considered as the first Friday after completion, and an invoice will be sent that same day. Payment is due on receipt, unless otherwise arranged between CBI Web and the Client. For your convenience and reference, most of the above billing details are outlined at the bottom of each invoice we send.
